Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Commission Inaugurates New Board Members

In a significant milestone for the Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission, the newly appointed Board Members by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, gathered for their inaugural meeting under the leadership of Imam Bappari Umar Kem who is the chairman of the Board.

During the meeting, the Executive Secretary who is the Chief Executive Officer CEO, of the Commission, Malam Abubakar Salihu set an optimistic tone by expressing his confidence in the capabilities of the new Board Members and their potential to contribute effectively to the Commission’s objectives.

Malam Abubakar Salihu reassured the Board Members of the full cooperation and support they can expect from the Commission’s Management and staff in the collective pursuit of the Commission’s goals. Emphasizing the importance of teamwork and collaboration, he underscored the shared responsibility of all stakeholders in ensuring a successful and fulfilling Hajj pilgrimage experience for the Muslim community in Adamawa State.

In response, the Chairman of the new Board, Imam Bappari Umar Kem, expressed gratitude for the Executive Secretary’s leadership and guidance. Chairman Bappari Kem acknowledged the pivotal role played by Malam Abubakar Salihu in the Commission’s operations and commended his warm reception extended to the Board Members from the outset of their meeting.

The Chairman pledged his readiness to work closely with the Executive Secretary and the entire Commission to achieve the Commission’s objectives and enhance its service delivery.

The first meeting of the Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Commission with the new Board Members marked a positive beginning characterized by mutual respect, cooperation, and a shared commitment to excellence. With the Executive Secretary’s confidence in their abilities and the Board’s appreciation for his leadership, the Commission is poised to embark on a journey of collaboration and progress towards achieving its mandate and serving the Muslim community effectively.
