Boko Haram Terrorists were said to have invaded Gajibo Resettlement Community in Dikwa Local Government Area of Borno State and set ablaze 25 newly constructed houses and took over 100 occupants captive.

A local security source in the area said, the terrorists picked about 53 young girls and 48 young boys at Ngala, and Gombouru Ngala and that the terrorists disclosed the young ladies will remain in captivity until after Ramadan before they would be released, the sources informs.

The terrorists said the captured ladies will assist in making paps for suhr and other stuff for them during the Ramadan period.
The sources further noted that the military was in pursuit of the terrorists in an effort to rescue the victims.

“Na ga akalla 25 daga cikin sabbin gidajen suna ci da wuta a kauyen Gajibo da ke yankin Dikwa,”in ji Modu.

Wani mazaunin garin Dikwa, Sheriff Lawan, wanda ya tabbatar da harin na safiyar ranar Talata da kuma kona gidajen, ya ce maharan sun dasa abubwa fashewa a wurin da ake aikin ginin gidajen.

“Sojoji sun shaida mana cewa maharan sun dasa ababen fashewa a wurin, amma sojojin sun gano wasu bama-baman,” a garin na Gajibo mai nisan kilomita 110 daga Maiduguri, babban birnin jihar.
