For the 2nd time in a span of 5 years of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s Administration, two separate APC led Federal Government Administrations of Former President Mohammadu Buhari and Bola Ahmed Tinubu have scaled the performance parameter of Governor Fintiri and finding it worthy of recognition for Awards.
The Awards earned through genuine leadership qualities in Administration and infrastructure development breaks the barriers of party and political sentiments, that the governor so celebrated for the prestigious awards was an opposition (PDP) Governor.
Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, had received similar prestigious Infrastructure Development Award from the immediate past Administration of Former President Mohammadu Buhari.
This second Award, presented to Governor Fintiri by Vice President Kassim Shettima on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,places Governor Fintiri’s outstanding achievements in infrastructure development, particularly in Administration and critical sectors of roads, bridges, healthcare, education, and empowerment in the anals of Adamawa history as the best ever in terms of infrastructure Development.
President Tinubu who commended the recipients for their well-deserved recognition said,
“democracy has come to stay in Nigeria, and with the caliber of recipients, there’s hope for the future.”
Governor Fintiri and his other colleagues who were selected for their dedication to infrastructure development received presidential accolades from President Tinubu who emphasized that the performance of recipients have tremendous impact on the nation’s growth and prosperity.
Governor Fintiri after receiving the award alongside other distinguished Governors, reaffirmed his commitment to continuing the infrastructure revolution in Adamawa State and setting a high standard for infrastructure development in Nigeria.
While dedicating the Award to the good people of Adamawa State for their support and encouragement, the Award however elicited the Award of contract for the construction of a Mini Underpass Flyover at the Fire Service Roundabout in commemoration of the Award.
This is in furtherance of the wholistic Urban renewal programme of the Fintiri’s Administration.
The Award and recognition will further solidify Governor Fintiri’s reputation as a champion of infrastructure development and a dedicated leader in the country.
