Christmas: Be Reminded Of The Boundless Compassion And Love Bestowed By God-Governor Fintiri
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has felicitated with Christmas in the State on the occasion of the 2023 Christmas.
“As the joyous season of Christmas envelops us in its warmth and splendor, I extend my heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the Adamawa Christian community and indeed all Nigerians.”
Governor Fintiri who noted that Christmas is a time of reflection, gratitude and love, reminded Christians of the boundless compassion and selfless love that God bestowed upon humanity through the birth of Jesus Christ. “In the spirit of this festive season, let us come together as one united family, transcending religious and cultural differences, to celebrate the values of peace, harmony, and goodwill towards all.”
While congratulating the faithful for witnessing another Christmas, the Governor said, “To the Christian community in Adamawa State, I convey my sincere appreciation for your invaluable contributions to the development and progress of our dear state. Your commitment to faith, family, and community service is a source of inspiration, and I am grateful for the positive impact you continue to make.”
He advised residents of the State to reflect the true spirit of Christmas, through reaching out to those less fortunate, offering a helping hand and sharing the blessings received.
“May this season be an opportunity for us to deepen our bonds of friendship and understanding, fostering unity and tolerance within our diverse society’ the Governor said.
While celebrating with family and friends, Rt. Hon. Fintiri admonished that as a special day, Citizens of the State should remember the importance of love, compassion, and empathy, emphasizing that in the face of challenges, the people should collectively resolve to be beacons of hope, guiding each other towards a future filled with prosperity, peace, and unity.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri assured of his administration’s unwavering commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for people of all faiths. “Together, we shall continue to build a society where every individual can pursue their dreams and aspirations in an atmosphere of peace and mutual respect.”
