Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri was received at the Yola International Airport by thousands of supporters who thronged the airport to give him a Heroic welcome having defeated Senator Aishatu Binani in all round legal battle.
Governor Fintiri who defeated the APC Candidate Aishatu Dahiru Modibbo at the polls also followed to pin her political ambition to the ground, leaving her to the mercy of the APC which has also threatened a stern sanction for giving credance to Ari Hudu’s embarrassing criminality.
Hudu on whose actions the APC Candidate based her claims of victory was earlier disowned by his employees who sanctioned and ordered his prosecution.
However,a APC stalwart,Phanuel Mosu, former Chairman of Numan Local Government Council and a pro-Binani accused the state APC leadership, some top APC stakeholders and their cohorts are nothing less than a branch of the PDP administration.
Mosu explained that it was no longer hidden that the party glaringly worked against the duly nominated Governorship Candidate Senator Aishatu Dahiru Binani who executed her campaigns, pursued her legal battles upto Supreme Court without the support of the party.
Fintiri’s Victory has exposed the irreconcilable differences and the APC’s doom as earlier posited by Governor Fintiri who claimed there was no opposition in adamawa State.
Today’s rally was a clear testimony of love and support, the Airport was full to brim,the streets especially the Bank road witnessed heavy traffic, this time not traffic of customers,b crowd of visibly happy and fulfilled lovers of Governor Fintiri irrespective of party affiliations.
The enthusiastic crowd walked through to Government House and amidst fanfare, the Governor who addressed the crowd was visibly emotionally shaken that tears rolled down his chicks,the sight of the downtrodden who followed up to Government House chanting his praises and assuring emotions on the face of this people was truly touching.
The meeting of the Islamic Ulamas, drawn from the Jama’atul Izalatul Bidi’a Wa’ikamatul Sunnah whether by coincidence at the banquet Hall, Government House, added colour to the reception.
Fintiri went,saw and conquered.
His return after the victory suddenly changed the mood of the state as civil servants, business owners, students and people from all walks of life have abandoned their businesses and offices to welcome him back.
