Acting on the landslide victory of the Peoples Democratic Party at the Saturday Local Govenenement Elections, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State is set to swear-in the 21 newly elected Chairmen on Monday.

The swearing in ceremony will take place at the Mahmud Ribadu Square by 10 am.
Already, the venue of the ceremony is wearing a new look as the the Secretary to the State Governement (SSG), Barr. Awwal D. Tukur was spotted on Sunday evening inspecting the sitting arrangements and beautiful decorations going on at the venue.

He was accompanied by top government functionaries in his office, protocol officials and uniform security officers to ensure that the venue was not only set but fortified for safety of guests during and after the historic event.
The would be sworn-in Chairmen according a statement from the State Independent Electoral Commission (ADSIEC), are expected to be presented with their certificates of return with their deputies who are all female by 8:30 am and there after they will proceed to Ribadu Square for inauguration.

PDP won all the Chairmanship seats and Councillorship seats in the 21LGAs with the exception of Demsa LGA where NNPP secured a Councillorship slot for Demsa Ward.
