Fulani Militia Who Attacked Mangu Killing Over 100 Villagers Ambushed by the Army, scores killed,over 50 Arrested

Accused by the Natives of siding with the terrorists during Attack on Mangu and environs,Men of the Nigerian Army on Saturday morning, January 27th, clashed with the terrorists in two separate villages of Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State.

Sources revealed that the clash occurred between 7 to 7:30 am. and a source in the army also disclosed that over 30 terrorists were killed and 50 arrested.

It was gathered that the clash occurred after Governor Caleb Mutfwang relaxed the 24-hour curfew imposed on the area.

Mutfwang had said following improvement of security, the curfew should be from 8am to 4pm.

Another source, according to report revealed that some soldiers sustained injuries during the clash at Satguru and Tyop villages.

A security operative, who requested anonymity, said, “The incident occurred between 7 to 7:30 am when the gunmen came in their numbers and started attacking some communities along Gindiri road. In no time, the soldiers were alerted and immediately responded.

“About 30 of the gunmen were killed while more than 50 of them were arrested with guns and ammunition. Four soldiers were equally injured.”

Yesterday, a heartbreaking video showing the moment a church in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State was burnt down by Fulani terrorists emerged.

In the video, one of the worshippers in the church called for help as she lamented the situation.

The video was shared by Visegrad24 following the gruesome massacre of 30 people in Mangu LGA on Wednesday.
