Ganduje Appoints Governor Mai Malla Buni As APC Coordinator For North East

In a reviewed structure of the APC, the National Chairman,Umar Ganduje has approved the appointment of Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON as Coordinator of the North East: Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba, and Yobe.
In the new arrangements,Buni will oversee specific activities of the party especially in the under listed areas;

(1) To coordinate the Governors of the North East to always identify with and participate more in the activities of the party;

(2) initiate a periodic interface between the governors of the North East Zone and the leadership of the party;

(3) Liaise with the party to commence the immediate process for genuine reconciliation of aggrieved party members in the North East Zone;

(4) mobilize governors of the North East Zone to effectively and physically participate in party activities within and outside the zone;

(5) Consult with the governors of the North East Zone on issues that will further enhance the progress and unity of the party within the zone; and

(6) Assist the party on resource mobilization within the North East Zone.

The inauguration of six governors to coordinate other governors in their zones is part of the efforts by the National Leadership of the APC to further build, coordinate, and strengthen the party, as well as achieve the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
