Obituary. Major General Garba Hong (Rtd), Passes Away

The death has occurred of Major General Garba Hong (Rtd).
Hong died on Wednesday 7th February,2024 at the Cedar Crest Hospital Abuja after a brief illness.

The Retired General hails from Hong Local Government’s area of Adamawa State was an accomplished military Officer who held several Military positions within the military formations.

Air Cdre (rtd) indicates that General Garba will be buried today 8th February,2024 at Gudu Cemetery after funeral prayers.

A member of the 32nd Cse, CSC 23 and NIPSS,Hong during his Military carrier held several appointments including Brigade Commander, Chief of Staff and was at a time a Defense Attachee in Brazil.

Late Garba,an uncle to the Speaker of the State of Adamawa State House of Assembly,Rt Hon.Bathiya Wesly is survived by his aged mother, wife, sisters and brothers.
