Operatives of the Taraba State Special Taskforce STF who on patrol in Yorro and some part of Lau Local Government Areas have arrested charcoal dealers with about 36 bags of charcoal.
The STF operatives were in sabon gari pantisawa enroute Nyalapa to Boboto villages in Yorro LGA.
The patrol however yielded results when the STF operatives intercepted 36 bags of charcoals from dealers in jimlari, Lau LGA.
The vice chairman of the STF Major Mafindi Soje RTD, said it has become necessary for the committee members to react based on the order given by the chairman of the special taskforce committee retired General JA Faransa.
He said, several warnings were issued but people have decided to turn deaf ears to the executive order by Governor Agbu Kefas hence seizing the charcoals.
RTD Major Mafindi Ishaq Soje said, a mop up operation will soon be launched in the state to tackle those proving difficult to obey the order.
Meanwhile, the patrol is part of effort to give hope to most communities facing security threat assuring that government is working assiduously toward the plight of the people of the state calling on the people to support Governor Agbu Kefas led administration.
