Suspected Boko Haram Terrorists have sacked the Gubio Divisional Police station in Borno State in an early morning attack.
The attack which is coming shortly after Governor Zulum visited one of the terrorists prone areas,left one Police Inspector death and weapons carted away in a commondo style an eye witness said.
It was gathered that the gunmen who came through the axis of Bunduldul in two hilux vans and several motorcycles, infiltrated into the township by foot, headed to the Police station and raided the station.
A source in the Lake Chad region reports that at exactly 2am, the terrorists began attacking the Police Divisional Office and shot sporadically.
The Sources confirmed that one police Inspector paid the supreme price while engaging with the terrorists while a constable was not found.
The terrorists also carted away one operational vehicle belonging to the Divisional Police Station.
